Staff Training in Greece

The training in Greece was conducted from November 18–22, 2024, at NTUA. It was designed to enhance participants’ expertise in sustainable leather tanning technology. Key activities included:

  1. Training material:
  • Principle of Laboratory Safety Guide.
  • Instrumental analysis testing
  • Environmental management in the tanning process.

  1. Industry visit:
  • Traditional leather processing industries using natural tanning materials.
  • Modern leather industries oriented toward export markets.

This training is crucial in preparing experts to support the sustainability of the leather sector, which contributes 26% of Indonesia’s foreign exchange compared to other sectors.
