The Faculty of Animal Science, in 3 universities (Universitas Gadjah Mada, University of Hasanuddin, and University of Mataram), has successfully completed the installation of ELEGTEC equipment to support the upcoming international training program in leather tanning and green technology. This milestone marks University’s active participation in the ELEGTEC Project—a collaborative initiative between Indonesia, Turkiye, Greece, and Italy focusing on enhancing education, sustainability, and entrepreneurship in the leather industry.  The newly installed ELEGTEC equipment includes:

·         Tools for leather tanning and finishing

·         Laboratory instruments for testing leather quality

·         Safety and support equipment for hands-on training and research

All equipment has been fully set up and is ready to be used for teaching, research, demonstration, or service purposes.
